These terms are between Fastlane Technical Solutions LLC (“we”, “us”) and the business or person using ShiftReady (“you”). Using ShiftReady means you accept them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to do so.
ShiftReady is employee scheduling software. It builds shift schedules, tracks availability and time off, records clock-in and clock-out times, and notifies staff by text message and email.
ShiftReady is a scheduling tool, not a payroll, legal or HR compliance service. Timesheet and labor-cost figures are provided to help you, and you are responsible for checking them before using them to pay anyone.
You are responsible for keeping sign-in details secure and for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think an account has been compromised. You must give accurate information and keep it current.
If you use ShiftReady to schedule employees, you are responsible for:
ShiftReady's warnings are advisory. The app flags things like overtime, hour limits and understaffed shifts as a convenience. They are not a guarantee of legal compliance, may not reflect the rules in your jurisdiction, and you remain responsible for the schedules you publish.
ShiftReady sends operational text messages about work schedules. By entering a mobile number, the person that number belongs to agrees to receive them. Full details are on our SMS Program & Opt-In page.
If you enter an employee's phone number on their behalf, you confirm you have their permission to do so. Delivery depends on mobile carriers and is not guaranteed — do not rely on a text alone for anything time-critical.
Do not use ShiftReady to break the law, to send unsolicited marketing, to harass anyone, to gain unauthorised access to other accounts, or to interfere with the service. Do not resell it without our agreement.
You can cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future billing; it does not refund the current period.
You own your data. We process it as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export your data while the account is active. After cancellation we retain it for 30 days so you can reactivate, and delete it thereafter.
We aim to keep ShiftReady available but do not promise uninterrupted service. It depends on third parties including Supabase, Vercel, Twilio, Resend and Stripe. We may take it down for maintenance and will give notice where practical.
ShiftReady is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that it will be error-free or that any message will be delivered.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or missed shifts.
Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. On a free plan, that amount is zero.
Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply to the extent permitted.
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your use of ShiftReady, your breach of these terms, or your failure to meet your obligations as an employer — including claims by your own employees.
You may stop using ShiftReady at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, or with 30 days' notice for any reason. Sections 10, 11, 12 and 14 survive termination.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Dakota, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in North Dakota.
We may update these terms and will change the date above. Material changes will be notified to account owners in advance. Continuing to use ShiftReady after changes take effect means you accept them.
