Who we are

ShiftReady is employee scheduling software operated by Fastlane Technical Solutions LLC, Fargo, North Dakota, USA.

Who this covers

Businesses that subscribe to ShiftReady — the account owner and any managers.
Employees of those businesses, whose schedules are managed in ShiftReady.

If you are an employee, the business you work for decides what information goes into ShiftReady and how long it stays. We process it on their behalf. To have information corrected or removed, ask your employer first — they control the account. You can also contact us and we will help.

What we collect

Provided by your employer or account owner

Name and email address
Mobile phone number
Job positions, qualifications and training status
Availability, preferred days off, maximum weekly hours
Employment type, hire date, and whether you are salaried or hourly
Pay rate, only if the business chooses to enter it for labor-cost estimates

Created by using the product

Shifts assigned to you and changes to them
Clock-in and clock-out times and the resulting timesheets
Time-off requests, shift swaps and call-outs, including any reason you type
A record of who approved, denied, edited or cancelled each request, and when
Records of text messages we sent, their delivery status, and your replies

Collected automatically

Sign-in times and session information needed to keep you logged in
Basic technical logs from our hosting providers, used to diagnose faults

We do not collect location data, we do not track your device, and we do not use advertising trackers that follow you across other websites.

Text messages (SMS)

When you enter your mobile number in ShiftReady, you are agreeing to receive text messages from us about your work schedule. We record when you did this. Full details of the messaging program and how consent is collected are on our SMS Program & Opt-In page.

You may receive texts when:

A schedule covering your shifts is published
Your workplace needs someone to cover a shift and you are eligible
Someone asks to swap a shift with you
Your manager acts on a time-off request or call-out you submitted
You are assigned to a shift you did not previously have

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help. Stopping texts does not affect your ability to use ShiftReady in a browser — you simply will not be notified by text.

We do not sell your phone number and we do not use it for marketing. Mobile opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Who we share information with

Supabase	Database, sign-in and file storage
Vercel	Website and application hosting
Twilio	Sending and receiving text messages
Resend	Sending email, such as invitations
Stripe	Subscription payments (Stripe holds card details; we never see them)

We also share information with your employer — that is the purpose of the product. Managers and owners at your workplace can see your schedule, availability, time-off requests, timesheets and contact details.

Your phone number is shown to co-workers only if you turn on the “Share my phone number with my team” setting yourself. It is off unless you switch it on, and you can switch it off at any time.

We do not sell personal information. We will disclose information if legally required to.

How long we keep it

While the business's account is active, and while you are listed on it.
If a business closes its account, we delete its data within 90 days.
Some records are kept longer where the law requires it, such as time and pay records.

Security

Access is controlled at the database level, so a business can only reach its own data and employees can only reach their own records. Traffic is encrypted in transit. Payment card details never touch our systems.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information we will notify affected users and any regulator required by law.

Your choices

See or correct your information — sign in, or ask your manager.
Stop texts — reply STOP, or clear your number in your Profile.
Hide your number from co-workers — Profile, then untick “Share my phone number with my team”.
Delete your information — ask your employer, since they control the account. You may also contact us.

Depending on where you live you may have additional rights, including access, correction, deletion, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. Contact us and we will honor them.

Children

ShiftReady is workplace software and is not directed at children under 13. Where a business schedules workers under 18, that information is provided and controlled by the employer.

Changes

We will update the date at the top when this policy changes. Material changes will be communicated to account owners.
